This all womens class is my baby. Strength training is so important for health and I continue to see ladies get intimidated about lifting weights. They don’t know where to start, or they feel uncomfortable being the only woman in a weight room full of men. I created this class because I want every single woman to feel confident and strong in the weight room.
Each 4-6 week session will have a workout program to follow. The movements will be the same throughout the entire session. Each movement will be explained and monitored to make sure every participant is safe and progressing. This allows multiple opportunities to practice form, establish confidence, and develop strength. Programs can be adjusted to fit the needs of the participant (ex: injuries or other physical limitations). To keep the focus on progressive overlaod, training volume and intensity will increase as the session goes on. I will be at every class, available to answer any questions, assess form, teach movements, and encourage participants to challenge themselves.
This is a full body strength training class for all levels, beginners are welcome and encouraged. Don’t be scared!
This is also a great place for women to come together, build friendships, hold each other accountable, and cheer each other on. Hope to see you there!
